THANKS FOR SHARING LAWAT56
Very nice, all look in great condition.
Great looking Jugs. Glad to see this many stacker type jugs with marking together. Most are found here and there. You might do a little research on some of the markings and date them. If you haven't already. They are KOOOL ! Just think when these were made, they probably sold for a buck or less each brand new.
Thanks. It's nice to know there are others who appreciate old stoneware like I do.
Lots of folks still appreciate them, but don't collect, I have a few old pcs myself, that are unmarked, wouldn't part with them. Where would you find more like these. As we know, there weren't millions of these jugs produced that were marked. I have made some face jugs myself and I know what goes into making a jug, A lot of time drying and firing. Lets hang on to our heritage as long as we can. Collect old pottery. There won't be anymore OLD STUFF left on the market to get one day. Lets hope it is not too soon. Enjoy while we can....
Bob I wish there were more like you that like stoneware. I am sure your collection is nice.
I like the one that says joseph wyatt on it, reminds me of wyatt earp lol beautiful jugs btw aha!
