Hi,
Any information on who made this would be appreciated.
It measures 12" across and does have a makers stamp (see photo) but I can't make it out. Design is very intricate featuring a flying eagle, trees and oak leaves around the rim.
Looking at the design possibly American or Japanese?

Beautiful! I would have said British, not because of the theme, but the location of the mark and the clay type.
yes i would say british as well...
i've seen this mark before...
will try to remember...
If you could remember that would be great, I've looked through the usual British reference books but I couldn't identify the mark.

this is BEAUTIFUL!! it kind of looks like Bill Marshall's signature. hopefully someone from the bernard leach school. it's a really beautiful piece!
