This is one of my favorite Rindskopf color combos - Emerald green, teal, brick red, blue and cream colored swirls in a twisted body with a tri-fold rim. Broken pontil mark, fire polished rim - 7" tall. It's late (early), so I'm not going to do a lot of writing for this one - just enjoy! :)

If I didn't have a co-worker in my office named Ian, I might consider changing my name - easier to spell :)

No worries - I knew what you meant!

      Best,

      Warren

Hi Warren. I was wondering about this one. Awhile ago, on flebay, a lovely iridescent vase, dark & purpley like this but with gorgeous pale smokey lines running over it, not too dissimilar to this, though it had more whispy white lines, giving it a smokey or could be described as a 'marbled' look. I didn't win it unfortunately but wondered if this type of decor has a name?

Fran, it sounds like you are talking about a type of marmoriertes, or marbled glass. I would just call it marbled. :)

Thanks Warren. It did look marbled, with a nice dark iridescence too. It went for quite a lot of money in the end...ahh well, another time maybe:)
