I found this years ago, of all places in a parking lot. I usually don't pick stuff off the ground, but my curiosity got the best of me. I have been trying off and on trying to find out what this is. Lately, I have been hooked on "American Pickers" and all the strange things they find. Any help on what this is would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks,
K

That is an old "horn lopper" they are used to cut horns off of young male animals. Thats what is appears to be to me.
Yes, it is for removing horn buttons, and horns can develop on male and female cattle.
Thanks for your answers, I would have NEVER thought of that, being a "city girl".
Again, thanks so much!
Strange thing to find in a parking lot! lol
I have one just like it. it takes the center of a grapefruit out, after you cut in half. P.S., it's not strong enough to cut off a horn.
Yes it was a strange place to find a strange item. Linda, I thought it was some kind of kitchen item also...hmmmmm. Now I am really confused?
Definitely not a horn lopper, I would say kitchen item.
