Here is another purchased from coca cola bottler from the teen's until 1980's
This appears to be an award given to the company for the 75th anniversary
I think it is crystal in a large diamond shape, with the old style paper label in the middle of it
    On the plate it says

75th anniversary 1903-1978 presented by the coca cola company to coca cola bottling works commemorating 75 years of bottling coca cola

IS THIS A RARE FIND ?

These were made by the CC Co to give the bottlers for their 75th anniversary. The Co decided instead to give the bottlers brass and wood plaques, so these were never used and eventually thrown away or destroyed. I personally believe these are rare and not often seen. Each plaque on the base was specifically made for a particular plant. The franchise of the plant that relates to your items should have received their franchise in 1903. The Munsey book has in the back, a list of all plants in the US, the original name of the franchise, and the date of the franchise.

Thank you for the info and yes this franchise was started in 1903, I know the complete history of the bottling plant ,but had never seen one of these I picked it up from the family that owned the plant and have the full collection of bottles they ever used from 1903 until 1980
My plan is to donate them back to the city they came from eventually with the crystal.
