If anyone knows that this item is, PLEASE let me know. Here is a brief description: It appears to be solid brass on a narrow base; it's about 12" tall; the vertical piece on the left gimbals (rotates in all directions); the cup on the top of the piece on the left is a conical shape about 3/4" deep and would NOT make a good candle holder; the ring at the top is hinged, so it can flip from one side to the other; the bulb on the right doesn't do anything and is just a counterweight; it weighs about 2 pounds. I'm open to any and all suggestions! Thank you!!
