Totally baffled by this...I'd say the color is ruby red, weighs 12 oz., brass bottom, 4 1/8 in tall, 4 1/4 diameter, 2 1/8 in. deep. Rather thick glass, and a rather rough texture on the outside. Any clues out there?

Also would like to know if any of you wine drinkers out there...Has anyone ever had chocolate wine? Well I had some last nite and it was absolutely delicious...really.

In the Arts and Crafts Movement from 1860-1910 or there abouts they made some very interesting items....I think your item could be in the latter part of this or possibly 50'60s retro time...hard to know, are there any markings on the metal?

Thanks for your're interest Anne...I looked carefully and can find no markings on the base. This item is probably not considered a goblet, so what would you say it is.
