Embossed Valentine postcard. Printed in Germany. At the turn of the last century airships were the new cutting edge technology. They were huge, exciting, awe inspiring, and romantic. They were prominently featured in a variety of advertising. I suppose the idea that Cupid would choose an airship to take flight made perfect sense.
