Fish and Asian Large Bowl with Lid

Hi. I purchased this probably two years ago at a local thrift store. I thought it was just so cute. I knew he didn't go with anything I had so he went to the basement. It is approximately 17" long, 11" tall and 9 " wide. Looks like a large bowl with a lid. It has a glazed ceramic or porcelain texture but I really have no idea what it is.
