I saw a statue identical to this one in a antique store in Adamstown, PA today. I was curious about its origin (and its composition). It was marked exactly like yours. It was rather heavy and had a bit of a "ring" to it when tapped. My intial thought was it may be resin... but the weight and sound had me wondering if it could be metal. I too would really like to know more about this piece. Would you being willing to share what you paid for it?

I have one of the Loie Fuller statues as pictured above. It is probably plaster or something similar. I bought it in an Antique shop in Los Angeles about 20 years ago because I thought she was lovely. I too am curious about its origin and its value. If memory serves, I paid $200 for her.
