6" high ginger jar shape Horseshoe Laughlin China mark pate sure pate vase with 2 panels in pink with one chickadee bird with clematis flowers on vine and the other a standing tall heron bird in profile.

I understand the horseshoe mark and high end porcelain wares were only done by Laughlin for a few years - 1886 - 1889. I am curious if Frederick Hurten Rhead, who studied pate sur pate from Solon, or a if Rhead family member would have been involved with Laughlin in the 1880's yet?

Addendum - Rhead was born in 1880 - so definitely not by him.
