This cupboard was bought second hand in the early years of the 20th century (around 1910) in Zundert, the Netherlands. Zundert is the village Vincent Van Gogh was born in.
It belongs to my friend and neighbor and we are just starting to educate ourselves about this piece.
Van Gogh painted a picture with the village postman -who was a cousin --and although it was never proved to be their family member -there was only one postman in Zundert!
