This little Kewpie doll was given to me as a gift for a special birthday and told it was highly collectible. Although I have done searches for information about this doll and it's history I cannot seem to find any information. I still love it to bits though and it is THE best birthday present ever!

Is it made of metal or painted silver . How tall and is there a mark on her back or back of head I see something there ?

I believe from construction and especially the base that this piece may have been sold as a car mascot more recently. Nice reproduction but I believe also that Manikin knows her dolls the best so I would go by her opinion.
