Hi I thought this would be a great item for the William Shatner Décor on the Antique Archaeolgy show. I cannot identify the first name and the last name looks like ROE does anyone have any info on this artist. My brother and I picked this up five years ago at an Estate sale. We love this Oil painting it’s beautiful yet I have large student loans upon my shoulders. I have never had this appraised and would love to know what I have here. Thanks for collectors weekly and have a great day!

sure looks like Colin Graeme Roe's work (1858-1910), he did many animal oil paintings. I cannot make out the first part of his signature, but I do believe it is the artist mentioned. I'll do further research.a great painting anyway.
forgot t mention, he was an English Painter.
cis2you is correct! It is signed C. Graeme Roe "94" for 1894. I see records for Horses are 3,000.00 to 7000.00. Good One! Dave
Here's a link for one of his picture...zoom in to bottom left for confirmation positive on signature. Style is 100%. Value on this link; including buyers premium, June this year: £1,125. Nice!
