Here is some detail of The Engel Building. I'm glad that the building is still with us, but, yikes, how tacky does the "modernization" of the first floor look?

If I had the money, Hunter, I would buy and rehab this building and buildings like it! It's difficult to see it like this, but like Vintagefran confirms ….It's good that is still standing!!!
