(Dime for size comparison)Is this set gold? From my research it is but how much gold should i sell it as is or break it and refine the gold the first codes are a date code on bottom of saucer the last 2 N 5 are the factory apparently this was made during the war that being said who was so important they were having gold put into there dinner ware instead of contributing to the war effort and had this made i think its worth $200 as is so is there more then 5 grams of gold in it? Is this a one of a kind piece made for a certain person? So many questions please help im new on here and you've been so helpful so far and i appreciate it just wish we could talk more on price and sell to each other as im a dealer more then a collector but i buy lots of items and between me buying and selling i do enjoy my wares

Here’s another link to The Homer Laughlin Collector’s Society Facebook page. If you post a pic and ask if it’s rare, they may five you some info, but they do not do appraisals unless you’re a member.
