antique chest or jewelry box?

Chest approx. 20"x16" and stands 30" high. Top opens with a mirror attached and inner compartment with dividers comes out. Bottom two drawers, one has dividers and bottom one a deeper drawer only. Pedestal is removable. Not sure what it was made for originally.
