This piece is part of Mauviel's new line up of copper cookware. The heritage 1830 set. I am not a big fan of things new, but I got this beauty for $60 and figured it was worth a spin. Unfortunately I am not pleased with the color this pan is taking on from regular usage on a stove top. The copper appears to be turning blue to almost a chrome appearance. But only time will tell through more use if this beauty is of the same standards & quality of it's predecessors. Other than that, it still performs like fine french copper cookware should. =)
