This was a very special item. I am MAD about it. I keep watching these type items on ebay - old silverplate squirrels perched on a bowl, log or twig. The old ones are superb. I would have it replated - if I were you - and cherish it. I'll never buy one, but it is one of my most longed-for items. Might not make a lot of sense, but.... So glad that you found this!
