We collect Loetz art glass circa 1900. This is the finest example of the makers work that we own. I have started a Facebook page where other collectors can post examples of their Loetz glass along with other pieces we own. Please visit us there as well as my Picasa pages

famatta127~ I have a Loetz glass vase with a stag horn handle. The top of the vase I have, however, is missing a metal piece. Below is a pic of what it should look like complete. Can you recommend someone who may be able to restore it?

that piece is by a competitor, Pallme Konig, not Loetz...look to Loetz.com for similar pieces made by Pallme..if you love the piece, its worth restoring. Value wise, they are not a big ticket item, so the cost of the restoration would have to be balanced with market value.
Hey T - Your Loetz glass is awesome! I also like your photography! You have a good eye and have been able to capture the essence of these beautiful pieces. Nice work!
Thanks for all the kind words everyone..I hope to continue to contribute to this great site

This is one of the prettiest pieces I have yet to see in all the fabulous collections of glass on CW. I guess because I am a child of the sixties!! Love the heart!! Mich
