The table was rescued from a Chicago Chinatown restaurant that closed. It was covered in several layers of enamel paint that almost completely obscured the carvings. It took me an entire summer to carefully strip and refinish it. That was almost 15 years ago now.

Oh, your vases are gorgeous. And having refinished old painted furniture in the past myself, I can't believe you did such a great job on your table. It must have been almost impossible to get the paint out of the beautiful carvings, but you did it!
