This vase is a 1968 design by Jiri Brabec and made at Rosice. The design was also produced as a jardiniere, an ash tray and a candlestick.
The raised relief pattern is different on each of the four sides. The raised relief shapes go round the corners (see pic. 2). I think it would have been a nightmare to design! The relief shapes are 4mm high and slightly curved and slanted. As always with Sklo Union the base is a well and beautifully finished.
