Please can anyone tell me anything about my old Teddy Bear?
It was given to me 20 years ago by an old friend shortly before she died. She told me she'd had it all her life. So I think it could be approx 80 years old. It has glass eyes, cotton like material on paws and made of wood wool as it is quite crunchy when squeezed. The arms and legs rotate 360 degrees but the head only moves about 10 degrees, there are no labels or buttons on it so I have no idea who the makers are.
Any ideas?

Hi it is not a steiff , I am not sure what wood wool is ? do you mean when you squeeze it it is crunchy ? It is stuffed with Straw . The eyes are they solid black or have a pupil ?
I believe he is a Ideal Toy Co. Bear made in USA 1930's
