Known as BG-047 among collectors, this poster and postcard was created by Wes Wilson for a couple of shows on Friday and Saturday, January 27 and 28, 1967, at Bill Graham's fabled Fillmore Auditorium. It's kind of a companion to BG-046, which I posted a while back, because the bill is exactly the same: The Butterfield Blues Band is the headliner, with support by the Charles Lloyd Quartet, for a full night of jazz and blues. In BG-046, Wilson used a publicity photo of the Butterfield Blues Band. In this poster, he used a photo of Charles Lloyd.

Probably an awesome concert. I've seen Charles Lloyd live ... memorable.
