    this mystery coffin is 8 1/2 in. long,4in width (at top) down to 3 in. to the bottom portion and is about 4 in. high, I havent been able to find anything out this mystery item!!!

      so curious as to what this is, and help will be GREATLY appreciated!! would like to know of it's origin, how old, what exactly it is,etc. I have searched and searched but to no avail!!!!!

      A larger photo would help if you could . Nice piece . I am not sure what last photo shows unclear on what it look like closed and does it open to show man ?

      Probably an undercover agent trying to catch grave robbers. The undertakers union won't be happy about this if he by passed them.

      hi VintageFran, thank you for looking and yes it is all wood! if I could find out who the "goddess" is I think that would help!! I believe she's def. chinese, but not for sure!!

      thank you manakin for looking!! Im sorry but I think thats as big as the picture's get???!!!! I clicked on each 1 individually and it brought it up a little bigger!! the man itself does not open, he's carved into the top piece!! it has gold trim through out
