Is it worth more in this shape or,if i restore it

Your trunk is a metal covered cross slat trunk. It was made around 1910 to 1920. Pretty hard to tell who made it or where, but not Eagle. Eagle only made the locks. Fairly common trunk, so I would do what you wish to it as long as it makes you happy.
