      That would be a spool and spindle rocker which isn't terribly uncommon. However the press back is kind of odd to see. It seems to be a single pass press from what I can see. If your date is correct ( it looks about right) then it is probably from Sears or Larkin. Single pass were quite shallow. If it is in fact a Sears or Larkin it probably sold for around 65 cents when it was new. If you leave it as it is and research it I think you will see a little more value today.

      Sears catalog archives are online right now but they are headed back to bankruptcy so research it soon. Larkin may be a bit more difficult. I would sooner think this was a Sears product because Larkin had a deeper more pronounced impression. There were obviously others in the business but that would put you around 1908 period.
