When it comes to baking, I find patisserie & pies the refinement of luxury as the encore to any meal or entertaining gathering. This wonderful piece from many years gone by is definitely a necessary tool to see to that perfection is achieved. I myself don't use a rolling pin when doing patisserie involving pie crust or choux pastry dough. Instead I prefer to use a well chilled bottle of vino (wine) as my roller. But for my collector of antiquities side. This piece is a must have! =)

Old times that I love! Nice memories watching to my grandmother using a rolling pin, in spanish "palote de amasar".
But as you in my home we use sometimes a strong wine bottle too :)
Many thanks tom61375 for share this adorable item!
