Well, you'd be forgiven for glancing at this plate & thinking it was another one of those holiday bring back mementos!!
This lovely hand painted in flower patterns is actually made in England !! Its 11" across in A1 condition and is marked on the base - BELLE FIORE
CHANTICLEER WARE
(SIMPSONS POTTERS) LTD
COBRIDGE
ENGLAND
Simpsons pottery did this design from 1944 til 1976 as it was their most known pattern..
another cbs find for £1..

Like this very much. The painting looks Czech in some ways, in some ways Spanish or Mexican. Very pretty.
