    Rebel Motor Oil 5 Gallon can picked this weekend. Has Rheen Mfg Co, New Orleans, USA on bottom. Side shown has decent graphics other side is faded. Nozzle included, wood on handle is intact.

      The flags are almost square, which would be correct, so must be early.

      Hey mon, I'm orig. from AL but left the States in disgust after Nam. I just noticed that the flags were almost square instead of rectangular & tossed in a comment. Based just on that observation, I'm thinking real early 1900's. I haven't been gone that long! Have you researched Rheem? Bonne chance.
