    Looks like a mountable aluminum navigation measuring instrument (possibly aviation?).
    Appears company name is GORMACO.
    Model 150 PAT. PEND.
    Measures approximately 5" X 4".
    Has 2 mounting screw holes at bottom.
    Plastic housing on back.
    Works!

      Damned, I hated these abstract scales. I even hated slide rules. They drive me nuts! Won't say it's for flying, but when I was learning back in the 60's, these "new aids" made me go crazy! "Oh, this new thing makes it easy" was always a scary thing to hear for me! Juggling the stick, monitoring the radio & then trying to remember how these things worked was a bit much. Sorry, but I just had to take out my frustration from those days. I feel better now! Thanks. LOL
