    16.5" x 2" x 1"
    Super hard dense wood. Looks like walnut but rock hard. Strange glass cylinder inside. Odd metal ends. What is this? I am truly stumped.

      looks like some sort of shuttle for weaving, but i have no idea what the test tube in the middle is for.

      The glass piece should tilt upward to wind threat around. I think that was called a bobbin winder or something to do with winding.

      This is a shuttle for weaving. Made of dogwood. The glass doesn't belong in there, it should be a wood spindle.
