Recently found a box of over 300 stereoview for sale and couldn't pass it up. Discovered toward the bottom a large group of mid to late 19th century ones including these French tissue stereoview called Diableries that show Satan and his demons in great detail. These were made from clay and photographed held to light they show there true beauty with color and light.
Torture Infernale! Wow!

These sell with some regularity and always command collector interest, with prices USUALLY beginning in the $50+ range.

Posted some thoughts. I have handled several of the Diableries views but none of the other type you have up.
