My grandfather gave me this alarm clock before he passed , he told me that he got it for his 3rd birthday, it is a Lux patient date on the back is April 1920,Nov 1921, I have been trying to find out some information about it but keep coming up with nothing , I have only ever seen 1more like it that sold on eBay but no information about it. So any information would help. Thanks everyone

I think this is awesome, especially your story.
It amazes me how many people put their possessions up and actually sell them with no effort towards the history of it.

Maybe to me, that's where the importance is, in the history. Good luck on finding yours, It's out there...

Right...I wouldn't sell it either. I was just saying that it would be nice if more people selling would give more info in their descriptions, especially since items on ebay are usually the first things that pop up as you search :)

What does it say on the very bottom of the dial. I think I can make out "Waterbury" but I'm not sure. I don't see the clock in my references but the dial should give you some information. Good luck.

Suggestion, there are many wonderful people here and some are specialists in the watch and clock world. Seek out one of their posts and inquire with them. I hope that helps :)
