    Verreries and Cristalleries of Saint-Denis, Legras and Cie
    Extraordinay bottle showing the bust of the french president Jules Grévy (1879-1887).
    It is marked "Jules Grévy/ 30 janvier 1879/ VOX POPULI/ D&D/ déposé"
    D&D is for the alcohol maker "Delitzy and Doisteau".
    C1890

    I really love it, it look like a statue. Legras' factory has made a lot of bottle like mine, showing celebrities of this years like the french presidents, The pope, Pasteur, Garibaldi, The Tzar and the Tzarine, ...

      Thank you for this - very helpful.

      I bought another one a few weeks ago in a Swedish countryside auction (along with a smaller bottle showing a hand holding another small bottle), but could find nothing comprehensive on the Jules Grevy bottle apart from your post.
