This is a Planter's "Mr. Peanut" silverplate fork made by Carlton Silverplate
Carlton was one of the many subsidiaries of Oneida Silversmiths, NY.
They made a complete set of spoon, fork, and butterknife with Mr. Peanut depicted on the handle circa 1940's-1950's called the "youth set" and also a nut server spoon (seen in a 1941 advertisement).
