I have 4 cups, 3 saucers, 1 small dish, 2 small plates, 2 large plates.

I will be honest, they are not in mint condition some you can see the wear and tear of time, ie:cracks, they however are fully in tacked.

    Its approximate date is 1960's

Is there a makers backstamp on any of the pieces? - It is a transferware pattern.

Not sure I'll have to check aghcollect can you help me what that means?

"Backstamp" is the makers' name stamp - may not be stamped on all the pieces but may be stamped on the bottoms of the cups, bottoms (backsides) of the saucers and plates. Sometimes it can be dated by the type of backstamp. - Transferware is a common pattern that many different companies used, basically a "transferred" pattern meaning not hand-painted. Some were all blue, green, red, mulberry (dark purple, almost brown) etc. - you have a "multi-color" transfer.

Johnson Brothers made this pattern, but it has been reintroduced several times since the first production.

The original were produced in the early 1950’s and production continued until the 1970’s . The factory closed in the 1990’s, but reproductions have been made of some of their popular patterns, probably by the Wedgwood group, who they had previously merged with.

it doesnt appear to be. it seems to be a transfer pattern then pinted coloring over that... all the items have small green marks on the back but bot sure what that is

Some transfer ware pieces had the transfer with the main color applied, and then were hand colored. Can you post a photo of the marks on the back please
