I have a hard time telling which lamps look old and which are actually old. I think the chain switch means actually old. I know a little about everything but not much about anything.

There was a time in the late 80s/early 90s when Asia repro'd these like crazy. I think is from that timeframe. The funny thing is, that the quality of those pieces makes them more desirable than the ones they crank out now. The green and red one (my fav) I believe would be more valuable as the colors are more true. The blue/tan one are modern colors. (Or more modern, like 80s).
