Here is a rough example of a rare D. G. Yuengling & Sons Brewing Company tray. The Yuengling brewing company is located in Pottsville, PA and is the oldest brewery in america. The tray features the old Yuengling logo so I would put a date on this tray at sometime in the 1940's.

The reason that these trays are so rare in because it's very hard to find them with the original red paint still intact. When these trays were made the paint that was used was very cheap and this caused the red color to fade to an orange and yellow over time and would destroy the image. Very few survived the test of time and stayed the red color as did this one.

This tray still has the original red color although it definitely has seen better days from the rust around it. This tray is a candidate to be touched up and restoration. Upon inspection of the tray when I bought it I figured I could touch up the tray pretty easily and get it back to it's former glory. After I restore this tray I will post a photo of the after look of it, so check back later.

Thanks for looking.
