Here is a Yuengling Tray I picked up a few months ago at a local flea market. This tray was made in the 1940's for the D. G. Yuengling & Son Brewery located in Pottsville PA. The Yuengling Brewery is also the oldest brewery in America, is a family owned brewery, and to this day is still in operation putting out great beer.
I love the graphics on this tray, it's so retro and classic to the 1940's. There are actually 2 variations to this tray, one with a black label (like the one I have) and one with a white label on the bottle. The black label ones are the rarer ones between the two variations. I still haven't found a decent white labeled one yet to add to my collection, but I am happy to add this black labeled on to my collection.

I just acquired the white label version of this tray about 2 weeks ago. I've been looking for that tray in good condition for a while and finally found one at a local beer collectible show. Now I have both and they look awesome side by side in my collection.
I live for beer (Cornerstone of the food pyramid) but don't think I have ever seen this brand, even when traveling in the area. Is this just a locally circulated beer?
I believe it is sold throughout the US.
I drink it in TN-- a GREAT beer!

The name kind of looks familiar but never tried it. I don't get up to McDonald's land often, but will look for it. It's not a dark Eng. style beer, is it?
Yuengling brews a lot of different styles of beer. Their flagship beer is Yuengling Lager. They also brew light lager, porter, bock, wheat, ESB, and a black & tan. I have been all over the USA and I know I've seen it as far as Colorado and up and down the east coast. The west coast however doesn't get much if any. My brother lives in Washington state and he can't get it at all; so I send him a couple cans in the mail from time to time.
