    I have been researching this vase and learned nothing. Although not green, the glaze is similar to what I'v seen on Grueby . Could the heavy glaze be hiding a Grueby Mark???? Did they use orange glazes. Any comments appreciated!!!

      Not Grueby. Glaze is referred to as Chrome Red. Vase was most likely produced by one of the North Carolina potters circa the 30s. Using the search phrase "North Carolina chrome red vase" should start you on the right path.
