    Trying to gather information on this set of 12 plus serving dishes. It was brought back from Japan for my mother by my great uncle via ship in the Navy. Slight variances appears to be hand painted, very thin teacups. It has teacups and saucers, desert plates, salad plates, dinner plates, desert bowl, larger bowl, gravy boat, casserole with lid, tea pot, creamer and sugar, serving bowls and oval platters.

      Wow! I have some of these. too. My father was in the Korean war stationed in Japan. He brought a small set back to my mom. They have faces in the bottom of the cups, right? Unfortunately, several of mine have been broken or lost in moves:(
