    It is an original item with it being marked in ink. I would appreciate any feedback that anyone can give me on this. If it is a rare collectable piece and/or what it would be valued at. The bottom right says this 12th day of May 1890. Thank you so much in advance and have a blessed day! : )

      I found 4 X "William Drew" listed from the state of Michigan. I suspect that it is William H. of Co. K, 11th MI Cavalry. The unit was mustered in 1863 and didn't see action in any major battles. Michigan is popular among collectors, so I would suspect you would still be able to get somewhere between $15- $35 out of it.
