this is another piece i bought at the same auction,i bought 3 pieces in total,went a little crazy this last few days and bought 5 pieces of art glass in total,so,need to make more room for my ever bulging collections of bric a brac

i went to an annual house and garden exhibition over this weekend,in my home city of durban,south africa,saw an exhibition by a local auction house,pokek around at the different pieces,saw they had lot numbers,and ssked the lady in attendance if the stuff was on auction,she said,yes,they having a silent auction and gave me a bidders form,i put 420 on each glass piece as there were only 3,i then looked at the catalogue and saw that the reserve estimate was $30,i thought,oh well,stupid me,surprisingly,i got an email on monday saying that i was successful ion all 3 bids,and i aquired 3 beautiful pieces,wonderful surprise,and i am still chuffed,lol
