I love the simplicity of form that this little 8" x 6" Trojan horse has. I'm seeing a bit of Greek influence and even a touch of art deco. The odd thing is it comes from Thailand. The material is a mystery too. Feels like stone and heavy like metal. Sort of resonant when you tap it on the base. I don't think it's ebony. Maybe just a composite resin of some kind. Nice little piece and I love horses. -Mike-

Take that sticker off and this could be from one of the Euro 1930s designers.
It is a fantastic design - the movement, the deco stylising, and as you say a bit of Greek too.
