I have no idea what this item is. It is 3.5 inches tall with the smaller hope being 1 inch in diameter and the base being 3 inches in diameter. I would love to know what it is, the manufacturer, and the time period it is from.

      I don't know...lamp shade?
    2. aghcollect aghcollect, 10 years ago
I would go the other way - lamp base

That's a Fenton piece for sure. It looks to me to be from a lamp. Maybe the base???

lol, I just now read the other two comments. Funny because at first I thought the shade then thought no, it's got to be the base...lol So nice that great minds think alike!!!

Definitely Fenton, I think it's called "button and daisy"?

Shoot, now I have to go out to get my piece cuz I think I called it the wrong thing. Can't be button and daisy cuz there's diamond and ??

looks like part of a milk glass lamp. Jobbers often selected various pieces of glass and electrical parts and created lamps for five & dime stores and department stores.

not daisy & button, and probably no way to know who really made it since most makers did not mark their glass.

Yea, I corrected that in my second comment after looking at it again...

I couldn't show it in a picture, but on the inside there is a funny ending of a flower with the center being the answer whole.
