This is a personally autographed photograph I got when I met Joe Lynn Turner around 1982-83 at his father's retirement party. The photo was taken in the kitchen of his fathers home in Hackensack, NJ. - At this time, Joe Lynn Turner was the lead vocalist for the rock band "Rainbow".
*** Joe Lynn Turner is an American singer known for his works with hard rock band Rainbow. Turner enjoyed his first taste of national success in 1976 with pop-rock band Fandango. He sang and played guitar on all of the band's four albums. Fandango toured with numerous artists including The Allman Brothers, The Marshall Tucker Band, The Beach Boys and Billy Joel. After Fandango split, he received an audition from British guitarist Ritchie Blackmore and was immediately enlisted in Rainbow. Rainbow disbanded in 1984 and in 1985 Turner released a solo album, "Rescue You". He has also enjoyed stints with such bands as Yngwie Malmsteen's Rising Force (1988), Deep Purple (1989-1992), Mother's Army, Finnish rock band Brazen Abbot, has appeared as a headliner with AC/DC frontman Brian Johnson on the Classic Rock Cares charity tour, and recently joined Norwegian group The Jan Holberg Project who released an album in 2011.
