Can someone please help me to determine when it was made and what it was used for? I acquired this basket at a flea market sale. It is made of plastic-coated wicker, and is about 14 x 8 x 6. I think it could either be a small picnic basket, or a craft basket.
Looks very new and made by a home crafts worker. The weave is really sloppy. Probably someone making them as a utility basket to make a few bucks. Small for a picnic but possibly for sewing or crafts supplies.
