My mom inherited this from her Aunt Martha who was given many antiques by a famous cook from boston. My uncle was a cook at the Waldorf Astoria in NYC for many years and they befriended a very famous cook who had a television show and lived next door to them outside of Boston. I'm not sure if this clock was one of the items she gave them or not. It is from the early 1800s and made in Connecticut by Elisha Manross. I love the verre églomisé!
