    Left in some things my from
    mother-law-. The case it in fair condition and it closes well. What type of guitar is this? I cannot find a design on it or I do not know where to look? Help!

      Your archtop guitar with F-holes is typical for jazz guitars. Gibson made the first, however companies like Sears, Regal, et al mass marketed the heck out of these. Look inside the F-holes for a label or serial number.

      That is a very nice guitar. I would take it to a couple of different music stores in your area and ask about it. I'm a drummer and a wood worker, not a guitarist, but I've worked with enough bands and have seen enough instruments to think that this looks like a quality piece from the pics I see here. Can you post some pics of the back, and of the head stock? Please let us know what you find out!
